Matt Chriss grew up in Baltimore, MD where he captained the lacrosse team at Gilman School. He went on to play at Brown University where he became an Ivy League Champion in 2008 and 2010, All-Ivy goalie in 2010 and 2011, and All-New England Scholar-Athlete in 2011. As a senior, Matt ranked 7th in the NCAA for both saves per game (11.64) and save percentage (.584) and earned the Brown lacrosse MVP award. Since graduating, Matt has taught and coached lacrosse at the youth and high school varsity levels in Virginia and Maryland. In addition to his work with the USC Men's Lacrosse team, he currently works with City Lacrosse, a nonprofit organization that offers lacrosse and character development programs in South Los Angeles.
