Joe attended Lafayette College in Easton Pennsylvania. He earned his degree in Physics while also playing goalie for the Div 1 Leopards. Joe also helped establish the now well decorated Madison Highschool (NJ). Joe has been teaching and growing the game of lacrosse all over the country and now assists his son, Head Coach Dino Vitale, to help continue and improve on the Purdue Lacrosse Program.
