Justin Ruiz joined the Concordia University Irvine Eagles as a Graduate Assistant Coach in 2022 and works primarily with our Goalies. He graduated from Stockton University in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Studies. Ruiz started 57 games as goalie during his four-year career for the Ospreys. Ruiz finished his Stockton career with 584 saves and a .550 save percentage. He also holds the Stockton school record for goals against average in a season (7.91, 2017) and has an overall career 9.29 average. Ruiz finished his Stockton career ranked second in saves, fourth in goals against average and fifth in save percentage. His accomplishments earned him All-CSAC First Team accolades in 2019 as well as Skyline First Team and ECAC Second Team honors in 2017 as a freshman. NCAA Tournament Participant in 2019.
