Daniel Tussy takes on the assistant coach role with SDSU men’s lacrosse working with the face-off specialists, as well as various other aspects to the team, including game day substitution box. Tussy, vacated his position from the varsity lacrosse program at La Costa Canyon HS in Carlsbad, CA where he held the same type of responsibilities for four years. During his tenure at LCC, Tussy assisted in the program’s success of winning two CIF Championships and another CIF Finals appearance. Coach Tussy played collegiately at Grand Canyon University as a midfielder and face-off specialist. He also was a graduate assistant coach for two years. Tussy is a native San Diegan and currently resides in Carlsbad with his wife Shela, and daughter Kennedy.
