Eric Sanschagrin joins the SDSU staff as an assistant coach working primarily with the goalies. Coach Sanschagrin spent 2016 at La Costa Canyon HS helping the program make its 14th straight CIF semifinal appearance. Sanschagrin capped an impressive career at Princeton University winning an Ivy League Championship. A three-year starter for the Tigers, Sanschagrin was awarded the Howard Trophy (most improved player) in his senior year. Coach Sanschagrin is a native San Diegan playing his high school ball at La Costa Canyon HS where he won a CIF Championship in 2010 and was recognized as an All-America (twice) and CIF Player of the Year. Sanschagrin currently resides in Carlsbad, CA.
