Coach Ulices Rivas is in his second year as the goalie coordinator. He played four years as a goalie at Downey High School under the guidance of both Head Coach Scott Witkin and Defensive Coordinator Chris Zessau. A college prospect in his own right, Coach Rivas forewent college to serve the United States Marine Corps. Serving two tours overseas in Afghanistan, Coach Rivas was honorably discharged in December of 2012. When not coaching or studying lacrosse, he is watching hockey or football. He also enjoys playing hockey. He likes to travel and spend time with loved ones. He works for the Federal Aviation Administration.
