Same Old: Not Much Change in D-I Poll

March 23rd, 2016 General News | Arizona State | Boise State | Boston College | BYU | Cal Poly | Chapman | Colorado State | Davenport | Florida State | Georgia Tech | Grand Canyon | Liberty | Oregon State | San Diego State | Sonoma State | SMU | Stanford | Arizona | UC Santa Barbara | Colorado | Connecticut | UNLV | Oregon | Utah Valley | Virginia Tech

ATLANTA – Surviving yet another close call, Chapman remains in the driver’s seat of the Under Armour MCLA Division I Coaches Poll, which was released on Wednesday.

The Panthers rallied to beat Stanford on Sunday, 9-8, keeping them unblemished on the season at 10-0 and well ahead of Georgia Tech for top spot in the poll. Chapman snagged 23 first place votes to the Yellow Jackets’ five, resulting in a 21-point bulge between first and second place.

The gap between Georgia Tech and third place BYU remained vast, as well, with the Cougars still 42 points in the rearview mirror. The Top 5 was identical to last week, with Colorado and Cal Poly rounding out the group.

Davenport and UNLV jumped into the poll this week, dismissing Michigan State and Minnesota.
