INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - Captains have been chosen for the 2017 Sierra Nevada College men's lacrosse program. Four standout student-athletes will lead the Eagles for the upcoming season.

Austin Farina, Sr., Goalie - Austin hails from Bellflower, Calif., where he attended Downey High School. Last season, Farina earned the starting netminder spot for the Eagles. Through his hard work, commitment and performance, he was selected first team All-WCLL and recognized as an MCLA All-American in 2016.

Drew Horton, Jr., Attack - New to the Eagles in 2017, Drew is a talented transfer from Genessee Community College in New York. Last season, Horton helped lead his team to the 2016 NJCAA National Championship title. Right out of the gate, Drew has displayed exemplary leadership on the field.

Sergio Orduna, Sr., Defense - A four-year starter for the Eagles, Sergio is the anchor of the top-ranked SNC defensive unit. Originally from Rohnert Park, Calif., Orduna is a former member of the Mexican National Team and has been named to the WCLL all-conference team for three straight years.

Danny Dubyak, Jr., Midfield - Danny is a versatile player for the Eagles, who can run both midfield and attack. Originally from Sacramento, Danny transferred to SNC after founding the lacrosse program at American River College. In addition to his on-the-field talents, Danny maintains over a 3.5 GPA and serves as an RA. He is an exemplary student-athlete both on and off the field.

"Leading a roster of 40 men can be very challenging, especially when they are your peers," said Sierra Nevada coach Matt Blamey. "I think we've found four men who are up for the challenge and have what it takes to lead the Eagles both on and off of the field this year. Each brings unique experience and know-how to the job. We're very lucky to have them in an Eagle uniform,"
