CrosseFire Podcast Returns

CrosseFire Podcast Returns

February 10th, 2017 General News

DENVER - Lacrosse Talk Radio is pleased to announce that Trey Lanthier will be joining the broadcast team for the revival of CrosseFire, the MCLA’s national podcast.

Weekly episodes will air on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET. The recorded version will also be made available for fans of the show on iTunes as well as Lacrosse Talk Radio’s website.

After a year-long hiatus, the show covering all the MCLA national storylines returns to the airwaves. It will feature interviews with guests and include breakdowns of the landscape in both MCLA Division I and II levels.

“I can’t wait to get back into the MCLA media,” Lanthier said. “It’s been almost two years since CrossFire last aired, so it’s pretty cool to see it getting a reboot.”

Lanthier returns to the role with extensive experience in lacrosse media, most recently as a producer for the digital streaming platform Lax Sports Network.

Prior to that, he was an MCLA national beat reporter for the league itself, writing and producing content for MCLA.us while also contributing to Inside Lacrosse’s coverage. He has broadcast national tournament games, SLC tournament games and served as an every-game play-by-play commentator for Arizona State University and Grand Canyon during the 2015 season.

He also has formerly produced content for MaxLax as an MCLA reporter, and produced a live regional high school semifinal game. This season, in addition to relaunching CrosseFire, he will be rejoining the MaxLax coverage team, a website dedicated to a local perspective on the southern California lacrosse landscape.

CrosseFire was the MCLA’s national podcast in 2015, and it was followed up by Louie DeDonatis’s Off The Wing national podcast in 2016. Before Lanthier and DeDonatis, the role was handled by Inside Lacrosse’s Dave Franklin, a former player at Emory.

If you would like to reach out to Lanthier, you can do so by email at [email protected].
