Sun. Scores: Lakers Sweep K-ville

March 12th, 2017 General News | GVSU | PBA | Arizona State | Cal Poly | Colorado | Colorado State | Connecticut | Dayton | FGCU | Georgia Tech | UC Santa Barbara | UNLV

For as much tumult as there has been in Division I on Friday and Saturday, Division II has pretty much held serve in terms of rankings.

Will that trend continue today, Sunday, March 12? According to the D-II schedules/scores page, there are only six games today, but the two big ones were once again at the Christian Academy of Knoxville.

No. 3 Grand Valley State capped off their week-long sweep of ranked teams by bouncing No. 13 Palm Beach Atlantic, 10-4.

In earlier action at CAK, No. 8 Dayton scored three goals in the fourth quarter to stun No. 19 Florida Gulf Coast, 5-4.

The Division I scores/schedules page features 11 games.

No. 1 Georgia Tech struggled early on against No. 19 UConn, trailing 7-4 at halftime. The Yellow Jackets put the clamps on the Huskies in the second half, however, shutting them out while going on a 6-0 run for the 10-7 win.

There are several key confrontations happening on the Left Coast today.

In San Luis Obispo, No. 4 Cal Poly exploded for a 15-10 win over No. 6 Colorado State, send the Rams home with an 0-2 mark for the weekend. The Mustangs had control of the_mcla Snapchat account, so check out the action there.

On the flipside, both No. 8 Colorado downed No. 15 UC Santa Barbara to post a key 2-0 weekend.

No. 10 Arizona State fought off UNLV in a key SLC South division contest, 12-11.
