Chapman Divulges Grueling Slate

Chapman Divulges Grueling Slate

August 20th, 2018 General News | Chapman

ORANGE, Calif. -- Chapman had its perfect season halted in the title game of the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, but the Panthers will get a chance to avenge their loss to Michigan State on March 3 in Ernie Chapman Stadium.

It's one of the 15 regular season games on the 2019 Chapman schedule that includes some of the top teams in the country, including six programs that played in Salt Lake City last May.

"We are really excited about the strength of schedule we have put together," said Chapman coach Dallas Hartley. "We host Cal, Georgia Tech, Michigan State, Northeastern, South Carolina, Minnesota, Concordia and UCSB in Ernie Chapman Stadium, as well as some difficult road tests at Cal Poly, Colorado Boulder, Colorado State and SDSU. We will need to be ready to play right from the start of the season and we hope these tough slate games will set us up for success in the SLC and MCLA playoffs."

Chapman will kick off the season on Feb. 13 when they travel to SLC North rival USC. The contest against the Trojans will be followed by five consecutive home dates featuring the Spartans and national semifinalist South Carolina.
