Liberty’s Gregory Has Top Performance

March 26th, 2019 General News | Arizona State | Chapman | Indiana | Liberty | Purdue

ATLANTA – After powering the Flames offense to a pair of convincing wins at the Battle for Baltimore, Liberty senior attackman Sam Gregory has posted the MCLA Division I Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending March 24.

The Hudson, Ohio, product opened the Battle for Baltimore by scoring four goals and dishing out three assists in a 14-12 victory over Oregon on Saturday.
Gregory followed that up on Sunday with a five-goal, two-assist performance against Northeastern, which the Flames won, 15-10.

For the weekend, Gregory posted nine goals and five assists for 14 points.

“Sam Gregory is one of those players that scores when it’s most needed, and he is always a someone we can rely on,” said Liberty coach Kyle McQuillan. “He has been such a big part of our team’s success for the past three years and he had an excellent showing this last weekend in Baltimore”

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Gregory will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.
