DURHAM, N.H. – Ben Clark has been waiting for this. In fact, Ben Clark was born for this.

He cut his teeth at Worcester Polytechnic Institute – WPI for the layman – but matriculated to UNH during his coaching progression. He is generally considered the Godfather of the Wildcats’ second iteration (UNH was once an NCAA program if you didn’t know).

On my first MCLA rodeo in 2007, Ben was my roomie in Dallas. Good coach.

Ben is now just a fan boy watching Scott Eiseman lead the Wildcats to new heights. And the Wildcats are at huge heights.

“Ben is a good man and a huge athletic supporter,” said Eiseman*. “We’re excited to see where this ride takes us.”

This is legitimately a national championship quality team. Junior John Leach is an All-American goalie that has showed out against the best teams in the country.

Throw in middie Austin Collard and attackman Brendan Cray and you’ve got a squad ready to make deep run.

But don’t you dare sleep on the Bulldogs.

Andy Garrigan’s first campaign in Athens featured a fantastic win over Concordia-Irvine on the road in SoCal and a clunker against a Justin Alexandre-led Alabama team. (Hoping Alexandre is coming back because he’s a stud).

Cade Klawinski is the tip of the spear for the ‘Dawgs, but freshman attackman Josh Weingrad and classmate Ryan Shure give UGA a host of weapons.

“New Hampshire put together a great season. Congrats to them,” said Garrigan*. “We play in the deepest league in the country. We’ll be ready.”

Will it be enough to take down Ben Clark and the ‘Cats?
