Senior Thank You: South Carolina

Senior Thank You: South Carolina

April 18th, 2020 General News | South Carolina

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The senior class of 2020 had their season stolen from them.

For reasons outside of their control, they will never be able to pursue goals for which they worked so hard.

As part of a recurring segment for the remainder of this spring, coaches have the opportunity to thank their seniors one last time.

Continuing the series is South Carolina coach James Harkey honoring his 10 seniors.

I am incredibly proud of these young men and their exploits on and off the lacrosse field.

Loaded with many talents, these graduates take tremendous potential into the next phase of their lives. They can confidently take the next step knowing they left South Carolina a better place than they found it.

They made Columbia a fearsome venue for visiting opponents, finishing their collegiate careers having never lost a home contest.

During their freshman year, our team failed to qualify for the conference tournament; as sophomores, they helped us to an undefeated regular season and Carolina's first ever appearance in the MCLA tournament.

As juniors, SELC and MCLA champions.

My sincere thanks for the energy and effort that they poured into our team.

Y'all will be missed. YAZOO!
