UMD’s Dummer Grabs Warrior Honor

March 21st, 2023 General News | FGCU | Kennesaw State | Minn-Duluth | MSUD | Wake Forest

ATLANTA – Minn.-Duluth won two of three ranked wins on its Sunshine State tour thanks to the play of senior midfielder Trevor Dummer, who was named the MCLA Division II Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending March 19.

The Bulldogs downed No. 15 Florida Atlantic and No. 20 Miami while falling to No. 11 Florida Gulf Coast on their Florida trip.

On the excursion, the Sartell, Minn., product amassed 10 goals and three helpers.

“Trevor is a true throw-back, two-way midfielder,” said Minn.-Duluth coach Ben Blaeser. “He never backs down from a challenge to stick a shot or lock someone down on the defensive end.

“He is one of the most passionate players I have coached and this team feeds off his energy and leadership.”

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Dummer will receive a Warrior EVO QX-O – a $100 value – for his efforts. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
