ATLANTA – For the fourth straight week, Rhode Island is the top team in the MCLA Division II New Balance Weekly Coaches Poll, but Cal State San Marcos is climbing the ladder in the ranking that was released on April 5.

Montana State (7-1), which is on a six-game win streak, bumped up into the No. 3 slot.

St. Thomas (3-2), which took its second loss of the season against No. 7 Grand Valley State (6-2) over the weekend, plummeted two spots to fourth.

Missouri State (5-1), which took down Grand Valley but lost to the Tommies, sits tight to round out the Top 5.

Wake Forest moved into the Top 10 for the first time this spring.
