SLC Unveils D-II Award Winners

SAN DIEGO – The Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) has released its Divis ion II all-conference and major award winners for the 2023 season.

Cal State San Marcos pole Coby Cernetic is the SLC Defensive Player of the Year and leads a huge contingent of eight first team all-conference selections for the Cougars.

CSUSM head man Wyatt Ehrhardt is the Coach of the Year.

UC San Diego’s attackman Austin Ortel is the Offensive Player of the Year, and is one of two Tritons on the first team.

Northern Arizona also had two first-teamers while San Diego’s John Culley – also a first team pick – is the Freshman of the Year.
