ATLANTA – After leading Kennesaw State to three victories, including a massive Top 5 upset, Owls’ freshman attackman Evan Suh is the MCLA Division II Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending March 24.

In a Saturday matchup with previously undefeated and No. 4 UNC-Charlotte, the Suwanee, Ga., native showed his range. He scored a pair of goals while setting up four more to lead the Owls to the 17-14 upset of the 49ers.

On Sunday, Kennesaw State played a doubleheader, dispatching both Tampa and Middle Tennessee State with Suh tacking on an additional 10 goals and seven assists.

For the weekend, Suh amassed 12 goals and 11 dimes for 23 total points. For the season, he has 80 points (47g, 33a) with one game left on the regular season schedule.

“Evan's performance this past weekend was impressive,” said Kennesaw State coach Ben Greenough. “Although he was the focal point of our opponent's game plans, he still demonstrated exceptional skill and resilience, helping lead our team to multiple victories against tough competition.

“Evan's no longer flying under the radar. He's squarely in the spotlight now. Every opponent has their eyes on him, but this has elevated the focus of our other guys. The rest of the team see this as an opportunity to showcase what they can do.”

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Suh will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.

Nathaniel Amidon, Fr. – Long Beach State
The rookie attackman out of Redlands, Calif., scored six goals, dished out nine assists and gobbled up two ground balls in a win over Biola.

Alex Berris, Sr. – Grand Valley State
The FOGO out of Rockford, Mich., won 16-of-21 draws in the Lakers whitewash of St. John’s while also gobbling up 11 grounds balls.

Tycen Biggs, Jr. – Utah State
The long-stick middie out of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was a monster in a 2-1 week for the Aggies, grabbing 16 GBs with nine caused turnovers and an assist.

Ryan Cassidy, Sr. – UNC-Wilmington
The middie from Kennett Square, Pa., touched up Temple for six goals and a dime, bumping the Seahawks over .500 for the first time in program history.

Jack Causey, Jr. – Montana State
The Sherwood, Ore., product dominated the dot this weekend, combing to win 26-of-29 faceoffs along with 19 GBs, a goal and two assists against ranked teams.

Bodie Jones, Fr. – Northwest Nazarene
In the Nighthawks victory over a ranked Northern Arizona squad, the rookie out of Meridien, Idaho, notched four goals and four assists.

Richie de Luna, Fr. – William & Mary
The faceoff specialist out of Dallas, Pa., won 15-of-18 draws against Division I Temple, leading the Tribe to a 10-8 victory.

Ryan Thomas, Sr. – Florida Atlantic
The middie out of Owings, Md., led the Owls to a 3-0 week in Ohio by combining for seven goals and nine dimes.
