Concordia-Irvine Gets SLC-II Nod
SAN DIEGO -- The Southwestern Lacrosse Conference Division II trophy has resided at Concordia-Irvine for the past four seasons and the Eagles are the unanimous pick to retain the hardware after the league coaches conducted their preseason poll.
Concordia-Irvine (15-1) took home all eight first place votes, putting the Eagles ahead of Cal State Fullerton (10-4), which was the consensus No. 2 choice in the SLC.
San Diego (7-9), which played four MCLA Division I teams last spring as it transitioned back to Division II, is slotted third, just ahead of Northern Arizona (9-5).
