Friday's Scores: Texas Downs LSU

Friday's Scores: Texas Downs LSU

March 3rd, 2017 General News | Alabama | Long Beach | Clemson | Colorado | LSU | Minnesota | North Dakota | Northern Arizona | St. Thomas | Texas

There are 10 games on the Division I schedule/scores page for today, March 3.

Undefeated Texas (5-0), which is still on its quest to gain a Top 25 ranking, hits the road to face LSA rival LSU in Baton Rouge.

The Longhorns ended up knocking off the Tigers, 9-3 to improve to 6-0.

No. 22 Minnesota traveled to Boulder to face No. 8 Colorado, but couldn't run with the Buffs in an 18-12 loss. Gopher goalie Matt Jorgensen made 18 saves to join the 500-save club for his career.

There's also a little rematch between the two schools that fought it out for an NCAA FBS championships.

Clemson won this one, too, beating the Tide, 13-6.

In Division II, there are six contests on the scores/schedule page, but one is clearly bigger than the rest.

Fargo was the place to be as No. 1 St. Thomas traveled to face No. 3 North Dakota State for a pivotal UMLC affair, but it was the same old business as the Tommies rolled up on the Bison, 15-6.
