Texas A&M Releases Captains, Sked

December 8th, 2017 General News | Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M men’s lacrosse team announced its 13-game schedule and captains for the 2018 season.

The 2018 edition of the Aggies will be led by three captains this spring, and will have a fourth captain each game based on performance and contributions to the team.

Junior defender Thomas Wojtowecz, junior attackman AJ Hepting and junior midfielder Drew Johnson were all tabbed for this honor.

Wojtowecz and Hepting were first team all-LSA selections in 2017 and MCLA Scholar Athletes. Johnson was a second team all-LSA pick in 2017 and the current club president.

Aggie coach Tony Scazzero is entering his 39th season at A&M and assistant coach/defensive coordinator Mike Sellers is entering his third campaign at A&M.

“The players and coaching staff are excited and looking forward to the 2018 season,” Scazzero said. “We are a young team that is very focused on this coming season and looking forward to the challenges of playing a strong schedule.”
