BOSTON -- After a three-year run as Northeastern's head coach, Chris Boland is stepping away from the program to pursue other professional opportunities.

"I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had to be a part of this program the last three years," Boland said.

In Boland's three seasons with the Huskies, he posted an overall mark of 21-14 and a conference record of 8-7. He guided Northeastern to the PCLL championship in 2017, sending the Huskies to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour for fifth time in program history.

Last season, Northeastern advanced to the PCLL finals again and were the first team left out of the at-large pool to go to nationals.

"We will miss Coach Boland and the energy, effort and excitement he brought to our team," said junior defender Patrick Norton. "We wish him the very best in all his future endeavors."

Combined with his two seasons as head coach at the University of Southern California, Boland has a career record of 30-32.
