Cerasoli Takes Over at CU Denver

Cerasoli Takes Over at CU Denver

September 4th, 2018 General News | CU-Denver

DENVER -- The Colorado Denver men's lacrosse program is pleased to announce that Guy Cerasoli has been elevated to head coach and Noah Rosenblum to associate head coach starting with the 2018-19 campaign.

Cerasoli replaces 2018 RMLC Division II Coach of the Year Jonathan Harris, who remains on the Lynx staff as a volunteer assistant.

Cerasoli has experience at both the prep and college levels. He had his most success as the head varsity coach at Arapahoe High School, where he led that program to three Colorado state championships ('09, '12-'13).

Prior to that he was the offensive coordinator for Littleton High School as well as for his collegiate alma mater, Whittier College. Cerasoli also has extensive club experience in Colorado.

A NILOA official, Cerasoli had a successful lacrosse career at Whittier, being named first team all-WCLL and team captain as well as earning MVP honors at the WCLL tournament. He was also a four-year letter winner for the Poets' soccer team.

Rosenblum, who was also on last year's staff as an assistant, will assume associate head coach responsibilities. A Florida product who played collegiately at Kennesaw State, Rosenblum was a two-time captain and three-year starter for the Owls as a goalie.

He was the defensive coordinator at North Atlanta High School and Oglethorpe (NCAA Division III) University before joining Colorado Denver.

The Lynx finished the 2018 season with a 9-3 record, advancing to the RMLC Division II championship game before bowing to Montana State, 13-8.
