Virginia Tech Releases Schedule
BLACKSBURG, Va. -- The Virginia Tech men's lacrosse team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour and with a loaded schedule, the Hokies are clearly aiming higher this spring.
Virginia Tech, which posted a 13-5 record and captured the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference (SELC) championship, will play a 16-game regular season slate that includes seven teams ranked in the final MCLA Division I Under Armour Weekly Coaches Poll.
The Hokies will match up with No. 1 -- and reigning national champion -- Michigan State along with No. 4 South Carolina, No. 7 Liberty, No. 10 California, No. 20 Northeastern, No. 23 Connecticut and No. 24 Oregon. Indiana and Minnesota, which are just outside the Top 25, are also on the docket.
The regular season culminates with the annual rivalry game with divisional foe Liberty, which will be held in Blacksburg this spring.
