Kennesaw’s Polanski Has CPoW

Kennesaw’s Polanski Has CPoW

February 12th, 2019 General News | Georgia Southern | Kennesaw State | North Florida | Southeastern Louisiana | UC Davis | UNC-Charlotte

ATLANTA – Kennesaw State registered a pair of wins against ranked opponents thanks to the play of freshman Dylan Polanski, who earned MCLA Division II Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending Feb. 10.

Polanski opened the weekend on Friday night with a goal and two assists, helping the Owls bounce No. 13 Missouri State, 13-2. He also added three ground balls.

On Saturday, the Suwanee, Ga., product buried four goals, allowing Kennesaw to edge No. 20 North Florida, 9-8.

"He’s lightning in a bottle. One juke and he is already two or three steps past his defender,” said Kennesaw State coach Alex Gavilla. “He is the spark plug for our attack unit and has an uncanny ability to finish around the net."

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Polanski will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.
