D-I Poll: Calcification

D-I Poll: Calcification

April 10th, 2019 General News | Arizona State | California | Chapman | Georgia Tech | Liberty | Arizona | Boston College | BYU | Cal Poly | Clemson | Colorado | Concordia | Connecticut | Florida State | Georgia | Grand Canyon | Michigan State | Minnesota | New Hampshire | Santa Clara | South Carolina | Stanford | Utah Valley | Virginia Tech | Washington

ATLANTA – Most of the teams have shifted from non-conference tilts to the grind of the conference season and, as such, the Under Armour MCLA Division I Weekly Coaches Poll has calcified.

The Top 12 teams remain the same from last week, led by Cal (11-0), which has already locked up the WCLL North top seed and just has a rivalry contest against No. 17 Stanford (8-2) before the postseason begins.

Georgia Tech (13-0) swatted away its last two non-conference challeges and now just has rival No. 25 Georgia (7-4) to determine who get the top seed out of the SELC Southwest.

No. 3 Liberty (12-0) continues to dismantle the opposition while No. 4 Arizona State rocked divisional rival No. 21 Grand Canyon (3-7). Chapman (11-2) squeezed past UCLA to remain in the No. 5 slot.

Both Oregon (4-5) and Texas A&M (9-5) fell out of the polls this week, opening the door for Georgia and No. 24 Washington (6-3).
