ATLANTA – After sparking the Seminole to a pair of key wins, Florida State senior Luke Kendall earned MCLA Division I Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour for the period ending April 7.

Florida State opened the week on Friday night against Central Florida in a battle for the top spot in the SELC Southeast division, and the Palm City, Fla., product delivered. Kendall potted three goals in the Seminoles 15-3 victory over the Knights.

On Sunday, No. 18 Clemson visited Tallahassee and it was once again Kendall who led the ‘Noles. He registered another hat trick as FSU sneaked out an 11-10 victory.

“Luke's production with the ball, in addition to his off-ball work, are a testament to how hard he works week in and week out in practice preparation,” said Florida State coach Darby Brower. “He’s a senior who played two of his best performances in the last home games of his FSU career. Luke is a beast of a worker: he never complains and puts out maximum effort for his teammates. He is a true team player.”

For his efforts in earning the Commanding Performance of the Week powered by Under Armour, Kendall will receive a new Under Armour Command Head – a $100 value. Under Armour is the proud sponsor of the MCLA.

Cam Criniti, Sr. – Connecticut
The attackman struck for four goals and set up three others, helping the Huskies pull the upset over Boston College, 13-11.

Nate DeGroat, Sr. – California
The Bears took down Sonoma State thanks to an impressive defensive performance by DeGroat, who neutralized the Seawolves top threat.

Jack Fisher, Soph. – Concordia-Irvine
Fisher returned to the lineup after sitting out due to injury and responded with two goals, including the game-winner against UCSB, and two assists.

Brian Hanley, Soph. – Stanford
Not only did Hanley win 15-of-19 draws against Santa Clara, but he also grabbed 10 ground balls, buried five goals and dished out an assist.

Tate Holleran, Fr. – Arizona State
The Sun Devils took another step toward the top seed in the SLC tourney by beating Grand Canyon and Holleran’s seven goals was critical.

Derek Isaac, Soph. – South Carolina
The Gamecocks went to Nashville and swept Michigan State and Davenport thanks to Isaac going 34-for-52 (65.4%) at the dot with 13 ground balls, a goal and a helper.

C.J. Nichols, Sr. – Liberty
The Flames rolled over both George Washington and Minnesota thanks to a combined four goals and nine dimes from the midfielder.

Tim Peterson, Sr. – Georgia Tech
The Yellow Jackets swept their way out of Nashville, thanks to a combined four goals and eight assists for Peterson against Michigan State and Davenport.

Mike Szymanski, Sr. – Central Michigan
In the Chippewas win over Illinois State, the long pole had seven caused turnovers and six ground balls to lead the way.

Kyle Topper, Sr. – Western Michigan
The Broncos swept Illinois and Illinois State thanks to a combined six goals and nine assists from out of the midfield.
