Minn.-Duluth Leads MCLA D-II Bracket

ATLANTA – It was the top-ranked Division II team for the entire regular season and now Minn.-Duluth has been inserted as the top seed for the 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour.

The Bulldogs (11-1) lead a six-team contingent of Upper Midwest Lacrosse Conference (UMLC) representatives in this year’s bracket. No. 2 St. Thomas (7-4), No. 3 Grand Valley State (7-2), No 4 Dayton (9-3), No. 8 North Dakota State (5-7) and No. 10 St. John’s (5-5) round out that conference’s entries.

2019 MCLA DIVISION II CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET

The SELC, SLC and PNCLL each grabbed a pair of bids to this year’s field. No. 5 North Florida (12-1) and No. 7 Kennesaw State (10-3) rep the SELC while No. 15 UC San Diego (7-4) and No. 11 Northern Arizona (9-2) carry the SLC flag.

The College of Idaho (12-0), the only undefeated team heading into the tournament, is seeded No. 6 and will be joined by fellow PNCLL rival Montana (9-6), which checks in at No. 13.

The 2019 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour commences on May 6 and will continue to May 11 when a champion will be crowned in Division II. Tickets to the event may be pre-purchased HERE.
