Northeastern Unleashes '20 Schedule
BOSTON -- With its sights set on a sixth trip to the MCLA National Championships sponsored by New Balance, the Northeastern men's lacrosse team has announced its schedule for the 2020 season.
The Huskies play an 11-game slate, highlighted by trips to Colorado and South Carolina to face a quartet of quality programs. That is followed by a Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC) schedule that produced three national qualifiers in 2019.
"The CLC has become a very competitive league in year two, so we decided to play less games this year as the two triple-header weekends last year were tough on us," said Northeastern coach Thomas Duca. "The four non-league opponents -- Colorado, Colorado state, Florida State, Clemson -- are all very talented teams and we are looking forward to see how we stack up against them before we end the regular season with our CLC league play."
