Kennesaw’s MacJack Goalie of the Week

April 25th, 2023 General News | Claremont | Coastal Carolina | Kennesaw State | Stonehill | UC Davis | UC San Diego

ATLANTA – After backstopping Kennesaw State to its second-straight SELC Division II championship, Owls netminder Dominic MacJack is the MCLA PEARL Goalie of the Week for the period ending April 23.

After playing a half in the opening semifinal victory against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, the Marietta, Ga., product really stepped up on Saturday in the title game against No. 6 Florida Gulf Coast.

MacJack finished with 13 saves, leading the Owls to an 8-7 victory and earning tournament Defensive MVP honors for his efforts.

For the weekend, he finished with 19 saves and a 59.4 save percentage.

“Dom was excellent this past weekend on his way to earning defensive MVP of the tournament,” said Kennesaw State coach Connor Murphy.

“He is part a deep group of goalies that we have this year. He got the start and showed out big time when his team needed him.”

For earning the PEARL’s Goalie of the Week, MacJack will receive a prize package from Guardian PEARL, a ball that lasts longer than the rest and never greases. Guardian PEARL is the proud partner of the MCLA.
