ATLANTA – After sparking St. Thomas to a pair of Top 10 victories over the weekend, Tommies senior faceoff specialist Cam Loberg has been named the MCLA Division II Warrior Player of the Week for the period ending Feb. 25.

For the weekend, Loberg finished with a 77.7 winning percentage along with a helper and seven ground balls.

“Loberg is often the heartbeat of this team and is always leading by example,” said St. Thomas coach Jason King. “Leaning on his military background, he is one of the most competitive and smart players I have had the pleasure to coach.

“His relentless effort this past weekend allotted us extra possessions when we needed them most.”

For his efforts earning the Warrior Player of the Week, Loberg will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
